Recipe: 5-ingredient Meatballs
When it comes to living a healthy mama life, ESPECIALLY when I'm on my own with two kids under five (which happens often as my husband travels for work frequently in the warmer months) simplicity is key. It's one of the reasons I have a master meal list to make meal planning easy- I already know our family favorites, so I pick and choose depending on what I'm feeling like for that week, knowing my family will (most days) love everything I pick. These five-ingredient meatballs are on frequent rotation in our house. Gluten and grain-free and super moist without the use of breadcrumbs, not to mention packed with healthy fats, we love to throw them over a pile of zucchini noodles with some sauce or pesto and call it a day, or well, dinner! And does it get easier than five ingredients (ok, technically there's six if you include salt, but who wants six ingredient meatballs?!). Add them to your meal plan, this week!
5-Ingredient Meatballs 1 lb grass-fed ground beef 1/2 cup almond flour 1 egg 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp sea salt
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Mix well.
3. Form into ball and place on greased baking sheet.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
