Let's recap those 3 major misconceptions:
Meal prep takes hours and hours.
Meal prep means cooking and eating the same breakfast, lunch and dinner out of tupperware containers- ick! Who wants to eat the same meals over and over again?
You need to have a ton of kitchen skills to meal prep.
Let’s debunk those myths:
Meal prep doesn't have to take hours. In fact, you can get it done in as little as 1 hour a week and save yourself 5+ hours during the week.
Meal prep does NOT have to be boring! Sure, you COULD make all your meals for the week- that would be most convenient. But BO-RING! I'll teach you skills to add variety to your meal prep, even when planning and prepping ahead.
NO way. Yes, I have the kitchen skills- that's why I'm the teacher. But whether you're a seasoned home chef, or a novice cook, meal prep can work for you. It's all about choosing recipes that work within your time, budget and skill level- and being willing to learn.
So WHY should you meal prep?
Meal prep saves TIME. So much time- during the week.
Meal planning saves money! No last minute trips to the grocery store or quick takeout trips.
Meal prep makes healthy living EASY- when there is healthy food in your fridge (prepped and ready to go), you will EAT healthy food!
