I'm Kris, I've worked with women for over seven years in creating their healthiest, happiest life with a holistic approach to health and balance through my one-on-one support in coaching as a Certified Health Coach, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Certified Culinary Nutritionist (as well as my expertise as a classically trained chef).

My purpose is simple: to guide women to stress less about food so they can enjoy life more and find their beautiful balance.

When letting go of hold habits and trying new things, if my panic crept in, she would email me back, with calming and reassuring words. She would celebrate what I was doing well and give me practical steps to take and questions to ask myself to find out the “why” behind the “what” I was feeling.

"I started following Kris on her website and Facebook about two years ago. My cousin had attended one of her meal prep workshops and shared some of the ideas she had learned about meal planning. This is where I began. Planning five dinner meals for my family in advance was revolutionary. I had been resisting this because I had such diverse dietary needs and preferences within my family of five. I followed Kris online for a while all while I was trying to lose weight through various diets, but becoming more fed up with my lack of results, and more intrigued with intuitive eating.

 

I worked with Kris one-on-one for some nutritional counseling. I had a lot of fears built up around never losing the weight if I tried intuitive eating... or my body working against me... or that my body just wanted to stay at a higher weight. Kris was very compassionate, responsive, and insightful in responding to my questions and fears...

 

My current journey has been really focused on distinguishing between physical hunger and emotional hunger. I was unaware of how frequently I ate for emotional reasons versus physical reasons. I have identified that my body prefers protein, fat, and vegetables. But, that I can have other foods when I truly desire them as long as I sit and really enjoy them bite for bite. My desire for these foods (chocolate, chips, other GF carbs) decreases as I focus on how I feel after I eat them. I cannot thank Kris enough for her guidance, inspiration, and gentle encouragement. The work she does is amazing and BLESSED and I tremendously appreciate all that she offers. I know she is only a text or email away when I need her. I find her online and social media resources reassuring, and I am still learning new things from her after two years!

 

I highly recommend any of Kris' services to anyone who is fed up with dieting and self punishment. With Kris’ gentle encouragement I learned two huge lessons on this journey:

1. This is an inside job. No outside diet or food plan or even health coach will ever be able to tell you what your body needs to eat for health, nourishment, or joy. 

2. Your body will begin to work with you to support your health goals when you start taking care of it and making decisions based out of self love, compassion, and kindness versus punishment, fear, and self hatred.
