The 5th member of our family is a 15 pound black panther... I mean, cat, named Samson.

  

My husband and I met when he was my high school best friend's roommate. Now my friend is dating my sister (for five years!). 

 

I lived and worked on a tall ship for a summer.

I don't like cake. But I LOVE ice cream (especially cookie dough). 

I was a natural foods personal chef for 3 years. 

I do actually love kale (really!). 

My favorite movie of all time is Romeo and Juliet (the one with Kate and Leonardo).

Meet Kris

Hey friend, I am so glad you're here!

 

I'm Kristin Dovbniak, or Kris for short.

I'm a holistic health coach, certified Intuitive Eating counselor, writer, speaker and host of the Healthy Balanced Mama Podcast. 

I help women ditch dieting for good, make peace with food and their bodies and own their health to live healthy, happy, whole lives.  

I'm also a trained chef, with a passion for helping moms simplify their nutrition through meal planning, meal prep and making healthy living work, for their families.

I love Jesus and sharing His message of worthiness beyond our bodies, our food choices, our social media following, how well behaved our kids are or how perfect our life looks from the outside. There is no need to hide- His grace covers all. 

I live on an island in beautiful New England with my sailor husband and our two sweet and spunky girls, Sage (5) and Wren (1.5).

Professional Bio:

Kristin Dovbniak, CNE, Pn1 is a Certified Culinary Nutritionist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Coach, Dr. Sears Prenatal Health Coach and graduate of Liaison College Culinary Management program. She has a background in Nutrition and Exercise Science from the University of Rhode Island and helps women all over the world ditch diets once and for all, make peace with food and their bodies and live happy, healthy, whole lives. Kristin is a writer and speaker on the topics of food freedom, body image, faith-based friendship, meal planning and family nutrition as well as host of the acclaimed Healthy Balanced Mama Podcast. She has been working in online holistic health coaching since 2014 and is the author of several online programs, including the Healthy Mama Meal Prep Program, and her first physical product, The Healthy Mama Meal Planner. She continues to empower women to tune into their intuition and simplify their nutrition through her monthly membership program, The Supermama Society.
